I'm not sure if you folks are aware, but I have a pretty popular blog and facebook page all about South Jersey. I've published two books and I have had over 1 million views (and heading to reach 2 million next year in 2015!) It is not easy managing a blog (oh, and I don't earn a cent from it, nor have any advertisers.) I feel like I've been blogging for a lifetime and recently just had to take a little break to recharge my batteries... and then get back to what I like to do! Exploring! However, I'd also like to make some money and support my blog and adventures so I created this photography business (licensed and insured, fyi). It gives me the best of both worlds! Making a few bucks, photography (which I love) whether landscapes, buildings or people and I am able to get out there and explore/write.
Plus, I am able to stay home with my kids and help to support our family. It's a win win in my book. I like people. I am a people person and find great joy when I see someone's face light up. Especially, with photos that I captured of their children or family.I also enjoy writing.. I love hearing stories and emails from people who have visited the places I've written about and never saw before. Since I write about places to seek out in South Jersey, I have quite an advantage when it comes to locations to photograph at. I take little notes of the time of day and how the sun shines in a particular place and I travel all over South Jerseyland... From the Delaware River to the Atlantic Ocean there is always something interesting that I encounter. Traveling... and adventures are what I truly enjoy as my hobby.
Hope you enjoyed these handful of scouted photography locations. I’ve gotten to explore every inch of South Jersey. Maybe you will recognize them... Maybe not.. I have hundreds of them and there are quite a few I don't even want to post online.. but check some of these beautiful places out below!
