Our recent photo shoot in picturesque South Jersey perfectly embodied the essence of love, joy, and togetherness. We had the privilege of working with a beautiful family, composed of Mom, Dad, and their three precious little girls.

As the morning sun bathed the South Jersey landscape in a warm golden glow, the family arrived at our chosen location. Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty, we knew immediately that this picturesque setting would be the perfect backdrop for their special family photo shoot.

Mom, radiant with her graceful smile, exuded an aura of warmth and tenderness towards her three adorable girls. Dad, strong and protective, carried such a love in his eyes that it was evident how proud he was of his loving family. Together, they formed a beautiful tapestry of love and unity, and we were excited to capture this extraordinary bond on camera.

Our aim was to create a visual story that encapsulated the unique personalities of each family member, while preserving the magical connection they shared. The little girls were nothing short of enchanting, each possessing their own individual charm and curiosity.  As we countdown to some hopefully amazing fall foliage, I get super excited for this time of year! I truly do. I am like a kid in a candy store because it's my FAVORITE time of year. I can't handle the heat in New Jersey anymore. I love hoodies and the smell of firewood in the air. It's delightful! I love Halloween. I love the 60 to 70 degree weather.

I love to hike and it's the perfect time of year to do so, too.I found this gorgeous spot a few years ago, in South Jersey and always had a special place in my heart for it.  It's PERFECTION all throughout the year.. but mostly the fall and spring months it shines. Great light, great red color.. pretty much perfection at its finest in regards to location and NO ONE THERE TO BOTHER YOU.  Which is why I love it even more! Nothing is worse in a session when you go to a location and there are a million photographers and families this time of year. In fact, Smithville in Burlington County gets like this. As much as I like Smithville (have used it for a few sessions), everyone goes there.. so it's nice to be able to offer some hidden gems to clients on locations I have scouted throughout the years.

I found these while creating and researching for my books that I have written on South Jersey. We were lucky with this session, as we practically hit peak foliage. So the colors truly popped. What I also love about this location as it has a ton of variety to choose from. There's the forest and gorgeous trails. There are a number of meadows with beautiful light and there's also a lake. It's a small piece of heaven in the New Jersey/South Jersey landscape and I've had the pleasure of utilizing this location a number of times with my treasured clients. And.. I hope to utilize it again this year! We personally styled the children in a few of these shots to coordinate and have them pop out from the environment.

Our goal was vintage, to truly capture their essence. I hope you have enjoyed this beautiful fall family session from LAST YEAR! ~ Yep, this is how far I am behind on here and getting work up to show. Hopefully, you don't judge my work from a year ago. I hope that I have gotten at least a little better, but I truly love the rich, earthy tones that fall brings. The orange fall  golden glow light is just flipping fantastic. As you can see, I am all about giving my clients variety. I love capturing families as they truly are. We do some posed, not so posed and end up just having what I call "fun" at the end and where I think children really shine! I see "them" through my lens and camera and allow colors and light to capture them.
