With all the craziness going on in the world today (we all know it), I mean look at the gas pump right now. I don't think we've ever seen anything like this in our lifetime. It's soooo important to still make those memories with your kids. I know a lot of families are struggling right now, with inflation, housing costs, gas and food prices. However, it is also the time to kind of step back and still remember these times with our children. I mean, things could be worse, right? At least we have a roof over our heads, food in our bellies and happy and kind kids. That's all I ever want for my kiddos and I am sure that is what you want for yours.

During these times, take out your camera or your phone. If going on vacation, is not an option (and flights are even through the roof), make a picnic lunch and go to the local park with the children. The quality time you spend with them, cannot be matched. They won't remember, oh we didn't have the money, they'll remember... wow, mom and/or dad REALLY REALLY LOVED ME and spent quality time with me. We remember the times they took us here or here, or spent time with us.

That's all that matters. So take those photos... make some memories together. Time goes by fast. Sometimes you need to just live in the moment and be present, right?
