What a delightful portrait session this was on a warm spring day in Cherry Hill, New Jersey! When you have perfect lighting, beautiful subjects, and a stunning location, magic happens—and that’s exactly what this family photoshoot was all about. I had the privilege of working with a wonderful mom who wanted to update her daughters' portraits, and what better time than on a picture-perfect spring day in South Jersey?

Cherry Hill is one of those hidden gems in South Jersey, offering some of the most picturesque backdrops for family portraits. For this session, we ventured to a beautiful location known for its blooming cherry trees, which offered a serene, whimsical feel. The delicate pink blossoms against the soft, pastel hues of the dresses added a magical touch to the photos, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

When I first spoke with the mom, she told me she wanted the girls to wear dresses that coordinated well and fit the setting. As luck would have it, I had recently purchased two gorgeous blue pastel dresses that were just the right size for her daughters. The colors were perfect for spring, and the dresses blended beautifully with the cherry trees, creating a cohesive, dreamy look for the photos.
