Santa Sessions on December 1st!
Well, Santa Claus is coming to town again! He's making a wish... he's checking it twice... he's gonna find out if the Philly/South Jersey kiddos have been naughty or nice. Join me for a magical adventure in Philly.. with the BEST Santa there is!
I realize that it is a bit early, but did you know that sunset is around 4:30pm on this date? Holy batman! It's getting dark out there!
I love my clients. They are a precious treasure to me. How cool is that I am hired a few times a year, every year, to capture these special moments and for just one family?
That feeling is awesome. That I am trusted to come into my client’s lives and capture these times.

Family Sessions... ROCK
Family Sessions... ROCK
It is no surprise how much we love to photograph our families! Most of our sessions are family sessions. Shooting Star Photography has scouted locations all around South Jersey and beyond, for the most ultimate family session. Whether you are looking for a forest setting (shown here), a wildflower field, or at the Jersey Shore we will make sure we capture you in the best light imaginable.
It's all about capturing these times and making memories, right? That's all we want. We want you to be able to look back on these, years to come, see them on your walls and SMILE at the memories made.

Whether your child went off to college, your child can walk or talk, or just entering high school, it is important to capture these times. They are fleeting. Time moves on, no matter how we wish to stop it.
This particular mama wanted to capture this time of her adolescent kiddos. Before they were going off to school. She also just had a milestone weight loss journey and wanted to capture this time of joy in her life.
Family capture and killing it in red. With mom and her "babies."
As you can see, mom killed it with her kiddos. We got to capture some great smiles, had a lot of laughs and just had a great day!
Smile kiddos! These are going up on the wall.
Mom wanted a magical forest feel and I think she got that here! We took the family to one of our favorite spots in Gloucester County. It doesn't matter what season of the year it is at this location. It is ALWAYS gorgeous! Even in the winter, we have done snow sessons!
Mom and daughter.
Our year is almost filled up. We have no more availability until September. If you are looking for that magical family session, we are here to make it happen!
Mom and her girls.
I wanted to get one pretty amazing one of mom and just love it. Hey, got to show off that new figure, right? We love magical fall sessions!
We love what we do and we love creating magic. Contact us today and let the magic commence!
Have a magical day, my friends!

My Daughter and being a South Jersey Portrait Photographer
Twirling in the tulip patch in South Jersey.
One reason that I got into photography, is my children. I just wanted to have pretty photos of my kids and to document them growing. I just wanted pretty photos and to cherish these fleeting moments. I purchased a camera in 2010 for a vacation, when I had my first child, Rocco, I would get out my little panasonic lumix and document my little red-head. However, it was time to "upgrade." I then went into the Sony Mirrorless a6000 system and it became love at first sight. Now, I shoot both Canon and Sony full frames, but it was the little push I needed in the beginning, to learn and to grow.. that has gotten to me where I am today.
I feel so blessed that I can capture my own children, HOW I WISH TO CAPTURE THEM. In the fairytale style that I love and taken all throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia. Now, my daughter has not always been a willing participant, she happily loves dressing up my dresses now and putting on a little show/shoot. At first, it was a struggle and she didn't want to wear any dresses, whatsoever. Kind of ironic, right? Now, she loves it. She loves getting to explore new places and being outside and the opportunity to meet other kids.
Picking tulips and giving me her usual “stink eye” look. She’s a trip!
My little lady in the tulips of South Jersey.
I now present you with my little love... Gigi and some of the joys and captures over the years. Hope you enjoy these images, as much as I do.
My little girl taken at Mood's Farm Market in Mullica Hill.
Having a fun day at the Jersey Shore.
My little girl at the Jersey Shore/beach in South Jersey.
Cherry blossom fun in South Jersey.
In the garden in Woodstown. My two loves. Rocco and Gigi.
Enjoy these fleeting years, with your children. You won't be disappointed in capturing them and memories that will last a lifetime. No one can take these moments away and I AM SO GLAD I HAVE THESE.
Happy Shooting, my friends!

I love when I am able to look back on photographs of the families that I have photographed, since the beginning and see how they’ve grown.
Softball photo session at Haddon Township, NJ.
Twinkle lights and sisters at the Jersey Shore.
Girls in front of the Wildwood Pier.
Audubon girl, celebrating her softball. LOVE this little lady!
With the current state of affairs, everything from violence in our schools, to food supply issues and down to the war in Ukraine. It makes you wonder if the world has gone nuts. However, I do strongly believe that with the bad we see, there is so much more good in the universe. If we can just look around and see.
It starts at home. Look around and see the blessings around you. You are loved, you have a place to stay, you have food in the fridge and clothing (hopefully, you are wearing right now). It’s sometimes hard to see all the good and joy and live in the present.
Time doesn’t seem relevant some days. Each day kind of wanes by, but then time adds up. One day, becomes two weeks, becomes a few months, then a few years. It is constantly changing.
That’s why it’s important to capture these memories of your family. We all get caught up in the day to day, but we forget to try and cherish this exact moment and time.
It’s my job to give you the best. I always do. Whether it is locations, posing, beautiful imagery, I am here for you. Let’s create that magic!
Have a magical day, friends!

Rocco
Kisses or not.. lol. They did not kiss here. Only a simulation…
Today, am dedicating this post to my first born. First off, he’s amazing (and it is not just his mom saying this), but he really is. My red-headed blue eye eyes 11 pound and change baby. Yep, kid was a linebacker when he was born.
Bad to the Harley Motorcycle bone…. Love this little badass kid.
Love my kiddos Halloween costume! WE had to go all out and get a Harley inspired motorcycle for the whole look!
Sporting his new glasses. Love his little smile!
Love how this little boy has turned into a little man!
Playing around in the Sunflowers of New Jersey. We have numerous farms we love working with.
One of his first "pro" shoots and he killed it! In the sunflowers in South Jersey!
Another kissy face image of my kiddos.
Rocco and his sister. she would only get dressed up, if only her brother was there. Otherwise, no dresses!
On Broad in Philly. I love the bokeh lights on display.
One of our most recent shoots. This boy killed it! Taken In Philadelphia.
He’ll be turning 11 this summer. I cannot say how proud of him I am. Rocco is like an old soul in a little man’s body. Truly articulate and always wanting to debate or get into an intellectual conversation. He’s a chill, ho with the flow, pretty independent kid. He’s got a sarcastic and dry sense of humor and even gets one over myself, on occasions. I really could not be more proud, as his mom.
My little firefighter. Of course had to add some magical fire element!
Another one of my crazy Halloween costume ideas. Of course, had to be dramatic with the fire.
Okay, now you are just being too cute kid.
Just Rocco being a cute little guy!
Taken right down the street in Woodstown. Where we lived.
Just a kid with his pumpkins and horsie!
Love you little guy! MWAH!!!
This year, he graduates his school that he has known for 5 years and next year, he’ll be officially in 6th grade. It’s kind of the rite of passage for preteens. I already see a bit of the attitude and already see the change from the boy to “a man.” As he continues to grow and eat like a monster.
Needless to say, I am proud of him. His sister loves him to death and considers him, her best friend. He truly is an amazing child and I cannot wait to see the man, he becomes. I see bright things in his future. Maybe engineering! Although, he says he likes to be on the debate team. Maybe a lawyer?!
Woodstown and the Shoemaker school should be proud to have you kid! I am very excited for your future! Keep looking at the stars.
Love always,
Mom
