Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions in Cherry Hill, New Jersey
There are a few weeks each spring when Cherry Hill, New Jersey feels like it belongs in a storybook.
The trees turn soft pink. The air finally warms up. And for a short window each year, the cherry blossoms transform an ordinary park into something quietly magical.
It’s one of my favorite times of year to photograph families and children.
Every spring I offer Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions in Cherry Hill, and they’ve become a seasonal tradition for many of the families I photograph throughout South Jersey.
A Spring Setting That Feels Like a Dream
Cherry blossom portraits have a softness that’s hard to recreate any other time of year.
The light is gentle. The petals move in the breeze. Kids twirl in dresses and parents relax because everything feels easy.
There’s no need for complicated setups or props. The blossoms do all the work.
Whether families are celebrating a birthday, documenting a maternity season, or simply wanting updated portraits of their children, the setting creates something timeless.
Portraits That Feel Natural
My goal during these sessions is simple — keep things relaxed.
Children move. They explore. They spin in circles and laugh with their parents. Those little in-between moments are what make the images feel real.
Cherry blossom sessions are intentionally short, which keeps the experience fun for kids and stress-free for parents.
What’s Included in Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions
Each Cherry Blossom Mini Session includes:
🌸 10–15 minute portrait session
🌸 3 professionally edited fine art images
🌸 Access to my client closet with gowns for girls, maternity, and mommy-and-me portraits
🌸 Gentle posing and guidance so everything feels natural
These sessions are perfect for children, families, maternity portraits, or simply celebrating the beauty of spring.
Styling for Cherry Blossom Portraits
Wardrobe plays a big role in creating that dreamy spring look.
Soft fabrics, flowing dresses, and light pastel colors photograph beautifully against the pink blossoms. Many families choose pieces from my client closet, which includes couture gowns designed specifically for portrait sessions.
The goal is always the same: portraits that feel effortless, timeless, and full of movement.
A Very Short Bloom Season
Cherry blossoms bloom quickly — and disappear just as fast.
Most years the bloom window lasts only about a week, sometimes even less depending on the weather. That short season is part of what makes these portraits feel so special.
Families often plan their sessions months in advance so they don’t miss the window.
A Spring Tradition for Many Families
For some families, cherry blossom portraits have become an annual tradition.
They return each year to photograph their children as they grow — the dresses change, the smiles get bigger, and the blossoms quietly mark another spring.
Those are always my favorite sessions to photograph.

Cherry blossom season arrives quickly each year, and once the blooms appear, the window is short.
But for a few beautiful days every spring, Cherry Hill truly feels like a fairytale.
