Recently, I had the chance to capture a truly special session set in a beautiful, vintage-style tulip patch here in South Jersey. It’s springtime, folks, and what better way to celebrate the season in the Garden State than by photographing a lively family in one of our many stunning outdoor locations?

This family holds a special place in my heart. I’ve been photographing these kiddos since they were little, and now it was time to capture their preteen and teen years for their parents. It’s always amazing to see how families grow, evolve, and change—like discovering that the little ones are now into sports, have new dreams, and are becoming more independent (and honestly, how their parents still look the same as they did years ago—seriously, what’s the secret?!).

Picture this: A classic tulip patch, tucked away in the heart of South Jersey, where the grass is lush and the flowers are exploding in all their colorful glory. This was the perfect backdrop for the family session of the year.
