Red is one of my favorite colors to work with and can work with just about every single season.

Red can be striking and fun to play with. Red isn’t a generally go to color for us photographers to shoot, but I love it. I feel it works beautifully in the forest. Among the lush background greens. It pops in the city (as shadows are generally blue and has a nice contrast) and it definitely strikes attention!

Red is more than just a color; it's a symbol of passion, strength, and vibrancy. When draped in a red dress, a subject commands attention, and the photographer is tasked with harnessing the energy that this color exudes. The play of light and shadow on the rich, vivid hue can create a visual symphony that captivates the viewer. Red photographs beautifully in the city, the forest, in a home… heck even a junk yard red would be pretty amazing in!

The red dress just pops here. It is among a simple background. Greens, yellows (mostly primary colors) then the red kind of sings!

Nestled in the heart of Swedesboro, New Jersey, lies a hidden gem that transports visitors to the picturesque landscapes of Holland - the Dalton Tulip Farm. As I strolled through the fields, the vibrant colors of wildflowers in full bloom created a mesmerizing sight. The rows of flowers, swaying gently in the breeze, resembled a scene straight out of a Dutch painting. The symphony of reds, pinks, yellows, and purples painted a canvas of pure natural beauty, making it a photographer's paradise.

The farm's ambiance was as inviting as the flowers were breathtaking. Families wandered through the fields, children gleefully picking their favorite flowers, and couples capturing romantic moments against the stunning backdrop. One of the most captivating aspects of Dalton Tulip Farm is its ability to offer a glimpse of Holland right in our New Jersey backyard. The traditional windmill, the wooden clogs, and the charming farm architecture all added an authentic touch, further enhancing the experience of being in a place that feels miles away from its actual location.

It really does remind you of something you would see over in Europe! with their wildflower fields, to tulip fields, down to their gorgeous sunflowers that they showcase in the fall!

The joy of watching families, friends, and even pets.. yes, pets I saw a pet hamster (kidding) revel in the beauty of the wildflower fields highlighted the farm's ability to bring people together in nature's embrace.
