FAQsWhat to Expect When Working With Shooting Star Photography in South Jersey

While we do try to stay connected via all channels, email is the best way to reach us. You can contact us at shootingstarsouthjersey@gmail.com or call 856-857-7299. We aim to respond as quickly as possible, but due to the busy nature of our sessions, it may take up to 24 hours for a reply.

We upload all your images from your session to a proofing gallery. YOU then can choose the images you wish to have edited. Once done choosing your selection, each photo is meticulously hand-edited for your final product.

While we maintain copyright, we provide you with a Print Release, allowing you to print at any lab you prefer. However, we strongly recommend ordering prints through our professional lab to ensure color accuracy and the highest quality.

The Greater Philadelphia’s weather can be unpredictable! If weather interferes with your session, we will reschedule. We want your photos to reflect perfect conditions, so we’re flexible about rescheduling when needed.

A minimal $100 secures your session date. This retainer goes toward your total balance and ensures that you’re officially booked!

The remaining balance is due on the day of or a few days prior to your session. We accept payment via Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Apple Pay, American Express.

We aim to provide a 2-3 week turnaround for photo editing (sometimes sooner, depending on the season). During busy seasons, it may take up to 4-6 weeks. We always keep you informed with an accurate timeline.

Expect a fun, relaxed experience. Once your contract is signed, we’ll discuss location, props, outfits, and poses. Our goal is for you to have fun and enjoy every moment!

We love working with kids! For younger children (1-3 years old), we recommend half-hour sessions to make sure they don’t get too overwhelmed. We always bring extra fun props like bubbles or finger puppets to keep them engaged!

Meet the Mini Me Aspiring Photographer/Assistant
Hi! I’m a ten-year-old girl in the fifth grade. I love to sketch and write—though I despise writing essays in ELA. When I’m not drawing, you’ll probably find me listening to alternative and indie-pop music. Some of my favorite artists are Mitski, Laufey, Jack Stauber, beabadoobee, Tyler, the Creator, Penelope Scott, Chappell Roan, Billie Eilish, and The Living Tombstone.
I watch a lot of anime, and my favorites are Demon Slayer and The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. I also play softball, mainly as a pitcher and outfielder. I’d say I’m pretty good at it!
I love animals—even though I’m allergic to them. I also love making kids laugh and helping my mom with her photography equipment. I have my very own camera and am interested in photography, so you might even catch me behind the scenes, snapping some shots during sessions!
