When you book a session with Shooting Star Photography LLC, your session fee covers several essential elements that go into creating those magical moments you’ll cherish forever.
Pre-Shoot Consultation: We take the time to discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific themes you might have in mind. This ensures we’re all on the same page and ready to capture the essence of your story.
Access To Our Luxury Client Closet: We are pleased to offer our clients access to a curated selection of exquisite dresses, available exclusively for your session. There's no need to purchase a special outfit – we’ve thoughtfully chosen stunning options for mothers-to-be and children to ensure you look and feel your best.
Location Scouting: Whether it's a picturesque beach, a cozy family setting, or a vibrant garden, we’ll find the best spots that suit your style and personality.
Photography Session: The heart of the fee covers the actual time spent during your photography session. We aim to create a relaxed and enjoyable experience, allowing us to capture genuine moments.
Digital Gallery: Once the photo shoot is complete, you’ll receive access to a private online proofing gallery to view your proofs and be provided with 200-400 images to choose from. Prints and digital files are ordered separately. After choosing, we edit your photos into your signature fine art style and then deliver them to you.
Consultation on Prints and Products: Need help deciding how to showcase your fabulous portraits? We offer guidance on print sizes, products, and gallery walls, so your memories shine.
This session fee ensures that every detail is thoughtfully addressed, allowing you to focus on enjoying the experience while we take care of capturing your precious moments!

Definition of Hand-Edited
Hand-edited images refer to photographs that are individually and meticulously adjusted by a professional photographer using editing software like Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom. This process involves manual enhancements to ensure each image meets the highest artistic and technical standards.

When reserving your lifestyle newborn, maternity, family, children, communion, unicorn or magical mermaid session, you’re securing a bespoke portrait experience crafted to produce exquisite artwork for your home. Let’s discuss your vision and how you envision showcasing your unique artwork before finalizing your reservation.
Preparation Guide
Upon payment of your booking fee, you’ll receive a comprehensive guide to prepare you for the session and to set expectations. This guide covers essential pre-session steps, wardrobe suggestions (we love to pair colors to locations) and provide a detailed map to the studio or chosen outdoor location.
The Day Of Session
On the schedule day, we’ll convene at the studio or the designative location. With maternity sessions, we offer a selection of gowns, while dresses are also available for girls sizes 1 up to 12 years old.
The Final Product
Upon completion of your products, whether it be your digital gallery or wall art, I’ll help to coordinate delivery and, if needed installation. All products (whether digital galleries or wall art) can take 4-6 weeks after selection. This can vary upon the session.

Your Handcrafted Images
All images are one-of-a kind high-end painterly masterpieces. One image can take hours. These images are meant to be displayed large on walls in homes, as they are art. We do not use actions or presets. Everything is meticulously a hand-edit process. We have trained with the best of the best in the photography industry, including some of the top photographers in the world.
We have built relationships with all kinds of farmers, historic sites and flower fields for a full class-act private experience. From forests, to country roads to the ocean waves… we have you covered.
