It's A Year For Being Grateful
I think sometimes we need to sit back and analyze all the good in our lives. I recently took a little time off and did a lot of soul searching. I got healthier and lost weight. Mentally and spiritually I feel completely happy and whole again. Sometimes, it's hard in this photography business to just lose ourselves.
I had difficulty these past few years. I made no time for myself and my family suffered, I suffered, my health suffered, my body suffered. Mentally... I suffered. I was miserable. I put in 16 hour days, all day everyday. I was plain out exhausted. Business was booming, but I was killing myself.
A few months ago, I made the decision to cut back this year in 2020 and I have. I'm grateful for this time off and this reflection. I feel like I have a new lease on life. I am healthier than I have been in a long time. Working out, eating right.
Don't get me wrong, I am still working. It's just that I am better at managing my time and my personal time. I have so many new projects planned for the upcoming year and I am very excited to bring these forth. It will be something different to the Philadelphia area.
For anyone getting into photography, there is so much necessary things you will need to do and it can be time consuming and plain out exhausting. Don't fall into the trap and make sure that you create time for yourself. You will be a better person all around for it.
I am so grateful that I have an assistant for my business, otherwise I would probably not stay sane. I cannot tell you, as we move forward, I have never been happier for where my photography business is heading. I am very excited for another blessed year.
I seriously thank you for FIVE glorious years and from the bottom of my heart.
