Fall is HERE! Time to book your Session!
Ahhh today is the first day of fall in South Jersey! The crisp fall air is already happening. The changes of the colors to the trees are slowly showing! It's a wonderful time and season to be living in the Northeast. It's where we truly shine! It's when it becomes truly magical!
Fall is the time I see most of my families! I love capturing moments with loved ones. It's what life is all about and what is most important. FAMILY. I love capturing snuggles and joy. These are moments to always remember and to hold dear. Creating a time capsule of a treasured time and moment is what I do best and I am so thankful I see a lot fo returning families year after year. I am so thankful to be in business for over 6 years and see the families I have worked with grow and blossom.

Fall Sessions In South Jersey are underway!
I have some very exciting news that I will be announcing shortly. However, we are now getting into our busy season! Which is FALL. It's everyone's favorite. Apple Cider, smores, hoodies, the crisp air. It's the time to unwind and to enjoy the cooler weather. There's nothing like this time of year in South Jersey.
Whenever I try to capture children, I like to get them in their own environment. Often times, it is best to take a step back and let children be their natural selfs. They ALWAYS make for the best portraits. Kids being kids. Enjoying nature and just being present.
Right now, there is no time like the present to capture these fast and fleeting moments of your children. They grow up in a blink of an eye. I tend to sit back and watch the magic unfold with children. Let them be kids for a bit, before we get to those cheesy smiles. It helps to get a more relaxed image and the child well tend to be more relaxed and eased.
This 2020 year, has been a trying year for all families. However, don't let these moments get away. Let them enjoy the fresh air. Dress up a little bit.. and enjoy life a bit.
As with any photographer, patience is virtue. Don't just run up into these kiddos faces and start shooting. Let them interact with the environment around them and then ease into things. The magic will then unfold.

I have a fascination with flowers- In South Jersey
Hey! It's me.. your favorite New Jersey Photographer:) There is a reason why New Jersey is called, "The Garden State." We definitely have an interesting topography. From forests, to lakes, to wetlands/the beach, we kind of have it all. All within a short driving distance. Hey, I know that Covid has us cooped up inside a bit.. but we don't need to be. I think it's awesome to just explore what nature has for us in our backyards.
For one reason, I use to explore South Jersey and I have written books about our beloved backyard:) Because of this exploration, I have found the BEST LOCATIONS to offer my clients!
From everything from tulips, to cherry blossoms, sunflowers to wildflower fields.. I HAVE YOU COVERED. There's always something magical blooming, in the South Jersey area, depending on the year. What I love offering my clients is just something different and magical from the day to day.
I truly love what I do and love capturing memories for each and every family that I work with!

Love photographing beach sessions in Ocean City New Jersey :)
Getting into Photography… as a newbie.
You’ll find yourself in situations and ask yourself, “How did I get here? How am I going to pull this off?”
But your confidence will grow.
You just need to walk past the emotional wall — the electrical fence — which paralyzes and imprisons 99% of people.
Because people remain imprisoned, they doubt themselves. They develop a victim mentality.
Their confidence crumbles.
Rather than building the life they want, the settle for the life they have.
Rather than living in an environment created by them, they live in an environment created for them.
If you want something different, you need to act different. It doesn’t matter how you feel in the moment.
If that life is different than what you have now, you can expect it will feel terrible. You haven’t yet adapted to your new life.
What do you expect?
Change is always an uncomfortable transition — until you develop a tolerance for change, uncertainty, and even fear.
Are you willing to go there?
How big is the emotional roller-coaster of life you’re going to ride? Small rises and dips? Or huge rises, drops, spins, and twists? Life is meant to be lived, emotions are meant to be felt and experienced. You get to design the roller-coaster.
Do you want the result bad enough that you’re willing to feel absurd, horrible, amazing, ridiculous, and stupid to get there?
Or, would you prefer feeling safe and regretful?
The choice is yours. But everything you want is available. And the more extreme the emotional shock you’re willing to walk through, the faster you’ll get the results you’re seeking.
No matter how “successful” you become, trusting yourself never gets easier. In fact, it only gets harder with more external noise and pressure. But you will never be happy with yourself or satisfied with your work if you don’t do what you truly felt inspired to do.
Remember this.. as you are deciding what type of photography interests you. Your most honest work will always be your best work. More than likely, it will also be your most successful work.
Enjoy this journey.. you will fail.. and you will succeed... such is the rollercoaster of life.

With how this pandemic is going on, I am sure it is making everyone on edge right now. We all know this is necessary to stay in side. As this will pass. However, I am finding that the more and more this continues, that family is important. It's more important more than ever. That's why getting photographs of your family will be key. This virus is taking lives and our loved ones. Everyone that is at home, understands that social distancing is a must.
As "non-essential" small businesses, we are all trying to stay afloat. These are tough times ahead. This time shall pass and I am greatly looking forward to the summer! I see many family gatherings and events happening in our near future. It's the one thing we need to hold onto during these tough times.
Since we have a little more downtime as a "non-essential" business, I thought it would be great to showcase some of our dress selections! Below, is dress number one. It's one of our favorites as it tends to go with any theme.
