There's something we love around here... and that is family sessions. We love servicing our customers all over the Philadelphia Region. From Southern New Jersey to the Jersey shore... to areas near Lancaster, we have you covered!!!A photography session is all about location, location, location, right? We have scoured all over the place. From rustic, to forest, to the best beach locations, we have you covered. It's all about the Shooting Star Photography experience. We truly have you covered from start to finish. This is why we sell out every single year!!!
All you need to do is honestly, show up!!! This beautiful family here. I absolutely adore. They hired me in my first year of doing photography. It was all about capturing the special bond this beautiful family has for one another.. and the location was important to them. They had a vision in mind and was able to offer some locations to fit that vision. This location definitely checks off a lot on most people's lists!! We chose a beautiful mansion that has a formal garden and pond. There's also a nice forest area that gets some pretty incredible light. As you know, we are all about the light!!!We showed up and there were three weddings going on here. Which had us a bit worried, but we also understand why folks would like to get married here.
The spot is in Pennsylvania and a pretty popular place. It was important to get formal photographs for this family so that they can be displayed loud and proud. However, our job (my mom and I) is to create connection and to show the love families have for one another. I hope we caught that.As part of every family session, if we have time, we bring dresses or a few boys outfits for the kiddos.
We love making our clients feel like little princesses and princes. My car is generally packed full with goodies so that my clients can pick out what they wish to wear. I also bring a changing tent for privacy reasons. That way folks can get dressed in comfort and not having to show their "goodies" to the public. Also, we bring coordinating headpieces. We totally have you covered. All you need to do is show up. We take care of everything!!! This session took place in the fall of 2018. We are very excited for our upcoming sold out 2019!!!
