It’s my birthday today. Blessed for everything. Blessed for my clients, my life and my children. However, today, I’m realizing that I don’t have enough family photos. I have my children captured every few months, but am lacking on myself getting in front of the camera with them. You know why? I am just as self conscious as most of my clients are. 

The only professional photo that I like of myself. We photographers don’t get much time in front of the camera.

I am always wanting to drop those last few pounds or don’t feel pretty enough.  A great photographer will make those insecurities go away and feel beautiful. Our family sessions are our specialty. In fact, most of the sessions we do and service in the South Jersey and Philadelphia region are family sessions. Family sessions are very important to capture. Our children grow so quickly and it’s truly important to capture these fleeting moments with our children.

I know sometimes we don’t feel skinny or the best in shape, at the moment, but I am telling you, our kids don’t care. They want photographs to look back on with their families. There is nothing better than seeing yourself, with your family, hung up high in your home. Studies have actually shown that it boosts self esteem in our children. It helps children grow strong and gives them a boost of confidence.

The studies through the years have shown that it boosts self-confidence in your children. Allowing them to actually visualize and see themselves, help them with a stronger presence and strength.  Let’s face it, a family photo, tells a story. It honors the memories cherished together. This is why it is important to capture and to hang these art pieces up high!

Get in front of the camera!!! Your kids will appreciate it. It is important. You will start to see more posted here, of me just doing that. You need to practice what you preach, right?

I met the beautiful “C” family when I first started this business.  I can’t tell you what it means to me, to see my families grow over the years. I’ve seen this little girl turn into a little woman. I’ve seen family members go off to college and unfortunately, members who have passed (but grateful that I was able to capture memories), onward to this little guys First Holy Communion. Boy, it’s been a ride. Two dogs later and two kids heading off to high school. It surely perks you up to see how much time has flown by and how important it is to capture these memories.

Let the healing begin- In 2021

God gave you all a gift. He put that inside you. I truly believe everyone has this inside of them. It's very important, for myself, to be able to give my absolute best with the minimal effort. It should be seamless what you put out there in the universe. I've worked hard this past year to work on myself and to analyze what I am putting out there and what I can do better.

*Making people feel good- I try to have every client I interact with feel special because THAT is WHO they are.

*Making people laugh- Laughter is key. It's medicine. It's gotten me through some tough situations in life and it is always great to laugh and to laugh with those around here. Tis' is life.

• The BEST quality/photography- Wanting my clients to look back... Years and years from now and still touch their hearts. I want my work to be classic and timeless. Proving the test of time.

*Intelligence- Always learning. Always growing. I am always trying to improve myself and definitely am not perfect.

*Writing- It's a key ingredient in my life. I am a twice-published author. Words have meaning and impact.

*Friendship- I want to create life-meaning friendships and cherish the moment with others.

*Sunday Dinners- Very important to me. It's quality every time. Every dinner, it's time to be with family and I love entertaining and inviting loved ones over.

I believe the gift I was given was to make people smile. Make them laugh. I am a total comedian at heart. I love capturing moments behind the lens and love reveling in moments and being in the moment sans camera. It's just always how I have been.

Even in this uneasy, crazy time... I still find humor. It's dark as we don't know what the future holds, but I have hope.

Love throwing leaves at the kids. It always brings in smiles!

 As the year comes to an end, I look back in wonderment. How the heck did I get through this past year? I did 553 sessions. This does includes minis, but that is a huge number and lots of families in which I served this past year.  I've had the pleasure in working with families all over the place. From Virginia to Connecticut, folks traveled to do sessions with us. I honestly feel honored.As the year winds to an end, I look back and feel grateful. I feel grateful that you chose us to capture your beloved memories. You allowed us to come into your lives and to capture some fleeting childhood moments. For this, I thank you!I look back upon this year. Small changes will be made going forward. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel in this roller coaster photography journey. I've finally gotten a hold of WHERE I wish to go as a photographer.
