Bob Marley may have been onto something. I know things are complete insanity right now. I haven’t watched the news in months, but I do read, A LOT and I do see what it costs at the pump. 

In my Shooting Star Photography world, I truly do want my clients to not worry about a thing because IT IS going to be alright. Time is passing by. Sometimes, we need to just live in the moment and maybe that’s what he was onto. That being in the present.... magic! Take a deep breath of the air around you and look around the room. You will probably smile. You’ll smile whether you are at your desk, or home, or with your children because that world, in front of you, is what you created. It may be perfect, but it is yours, right?

Listen... life is what you make of it. You can either see the glass half empty, or the glass half full. So what? House is messy, clothes need washing… those aren’t permanent things. Just like rough times, they shall pass and they always do and they get cleaned up eventually, right?

My job is to get you to enjoy and be in the moment with your family. That’s all. And that’s what we do. We sit back and watch the magic unfold and we capture that through our lens. I love what I do and I love seeing my customers happy and enjoying themselves and thus, they’ll enjoy the final images and walk away HAPPY. We need a bit more of that in this world.

Hi! We just moved to the Haddon Township area. I LOVE IT HERE!

I just moved into the Haddon Twp area. I think this place is a real find! I love the downtown areas of Audubon, Collingswood, Haddon Heights and the neighborhoods are fantastic. Being so close to all the parks in the area, also give me the opportunity to shoot in some real pretty settings. I cannot wait to create my own images (and already doing so in the new studio), and to make great memories for clients.

This historic area brings back that hometown feeling of goodwill and camaraderie. It is so great to see neighbors taking care of each other, and everyone looking out for each other. I love doing photo shoots all over the Delaware Valley area, from Philly, the Shore, Delaware and good ole New Jersey.

I try to capture the natural beauty in everything, and from this area, I am just minutes away from mostly anywhere. I think it is just a perfect central spot for most of the Philadelphia area and can easily access a Phillies game (my children love the Phils), concerts, the Poconos and the Jersey Shore. I also love the fact that you are just a stone throw away from mostly anything you need. Hello, Wegman's and Whole Foods (we didn't get that in Woodstown). It is just a really great area to be in.

I love all the great restaurants to eat at, along with the local breweries. Red, White and Brew is just a few blocks away, as well as Tonewood in Oaklyn and its new location in Barrington. It's nice to ride our bikes in the neighborhood and to explore the downtown areas of Westmont, Haddon Heights, Audubon and Collingswood. My kiddos already love Tre Famiglia and Il Fiore and the Escape Rooms of Collingswood.

I love this community so much and can't wait to be a part of it!

Wisteria Sessions in South Jersey! 2021

Spring is coming around the corner before you know it! Follow me into a magical world of one of my favorite flowers on this plant...these wisteria beauties, that comes to life on a private cottage farm. This cottage reminds me of something you would genuinely see in the United Kingdom with wisteria running wild. The fragrance alone is out of this world.

2021's magical wisteria cottage is now launched. We LOVE this private oasis that we can offer to our clients!

We will be the only ones here.. You will get to choose which images you would like edited. Session will be held in the evening around sunset. We hope to have them at full bloom for your pleasure! WE cannot wait to do this for 2021, as last year we were shut down due to Covid. NOTHING is going to stop us this year!

There is one type of session that I truly love and that is my city dream sessions. These photography sessions have been our signature style and most recognized pieces of work. These are the types of sessions that are exhilarating and so much fun to do... but also produce some very beautiful quality of images that truly capture this beautiful time in your life.

Broad Street Philadelphia Facts

Broad Street is one of Philadelphia's most famous and vibrant thoroughfares. Here are some facts about Broad Street that you might find interesting:

1. Length: Broad Street stretches 13 miles from the old Naval Yard in South Philadelphia to the northern edge of the city at the city line with Cheltenham Township.

2. History: Broad Street was originally called Sassafras Street by William Penn when he first laid out the city in the late 17th century. It was later renamed Broad Street because of its width.

As you can see, Broad Street offers a very dreamy and magical quality to your family’s photo session!

As you can see, I exposed for the subjects and the sky in this one to retain the orange vibrancy as you see in the final image.  I then in post added the sun flare from another photo I took from that very same day and very session, but I did keep most of the detail in the sky and played with the coloring in post. As you can see very subtle changes in post as I am a stickler for getting it right in camera and then adding some of my secret sauce to them. I LOVE capturing a story and is a big deal to me.

One of the things I have worked very hard on this year was editing and taking a ton of workshops! I have been everywhere from South Carolina, to Virginia, New York, Northern New Jersey and beyond for workshops (including a ton of webinars) this year. They mean everything to me and to the type of photographer I wish to become and am working hard to get to.  I believe in education wholeheartedly in this business! I wanted to share a few before and afters up on here to see the type of magic I put into some of my sessions. Some are more simple than others, but hopefully you can see my creative vision that I put into every SINGLE ONE of my images.

My goal is to be the leading fine art photographer in the Philadelphia area and vicinity.  I love my backyard and am very excited for the opportunities that folks have afforded me this past year in a half in business. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love to do EVERY SINGLE day! For this guy here I just warmed it up and added some vibrancy. Nothing major, but small little fixes can make or break an image! As always a good image starts with a great SOOC (means straight out of camera) as we photographers like to say. Here's another one. I did not add a sky overlay.
